The first question you should ask any lawyer you are interviewing for your case is, do you limit your practice to personal injury litigation?

The reason that’s an important question goes back to the first topic. In Michigan, anyone can say that they are a personal injury lawyer. It doesn’t mean that they limit their practice. It doesn’t mean that they’ve ever brought a case to trial. It doesn’t even tell you they’ve handled your particular type of case. But you want to determine if you limit your practice to personal injury litigation.
